NOTES

  1. Isabel Moore married Richard Meylroy 23rd November 1714 in Onchan
  2. She died 17th December 1730 (the parish register of burials has an indecipherable entry at the bottom of the page for 1730 which is likely to be Isabel)
  3. She had 6 children over 16 years of marriage to Richard: Margaret MYLRIOYE (1718), Isabel MYLROIY (1721), John (MYLROI) b1724, David (MYLROIE) b1727, Cathrine & Anne (no baptism record) - although Anne might be the McYLROY child baptised in 1730 with father Edward (not the first time such a mistake occurred in the parish registers)
  4. Lonan parish registers from the early 1700s are far from complete so extreme caution must be exercised when attempting to draw conclusions about these families and their relationships
